Despite the last football season only just finishing after the campaign was interrupted by the Covid-19 crisis, the new 2020/21 season is just round the corner. With the new football season about to start we thought it would be a perfect time to have a look at the betting markets involving Leicester City for next season and to see if we can out together some winning bet tips.
There is no doubt that next season is going to be a tough one. With the extra games of the Europa League taking its toll on the squad, which so far hasn’t been strengthened, it maybe slightly hard to find some positive bets, but we will try our best.
First we’ll take a look at the Leicester City betting for the Premier League campaign. We need to be honest, winning the Premier League seems well out of our grasp but if you do want to place a small bet on that then you will find the best odds with Sky Bet and Betway currently at 250/1. What harm would a £2 bet on that do? Just for a bit of fun you might back that but we won’t be betting on that to be honest. However, one bet we do like the look of is Premier League winner without the ‘big 6’, which is 4/1 with BetVictor. Basically you are betting on Leicester to get the most points but not including Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur. For more cautious bettors who prefer to bet on shorter odds might want to look at 4/11 available from Bet365 and Betfred for Leicester City to finish the season in the top 10 places.
The Premier League top scorer betting market is also an interesting one. You can find betting odds of 18/1 for Jamie Vardy to finish as the top goalscorer with Sky Bet and Betfred. Not bad odds for someone who won that last season. For really big odds though you can bet on Kelechi Iheanacho at 250/1 with Spreadex. Probably not very likely but still, at the same time does offer huge value.
Unfortunately there are no betting odds available for any Europa League betting markets at the moment but we would be looking for some bet value there if there was. Betting completely blind we’d probably be looking for some qualifying out of the group stages bets to start and then go from there.
When it comes to betting on the FA Cup, the only thing you can bet on at the minute is the competition winner. If Leicester City do have a good European run it maybe a tough ask to do the same in the FA Cup so we would avoiding betting on this, although if you wish you can pick up odds of 25/1 with Betway for Leicester to win it.
However, if you are holding out hope for Leicester City to win some silverware in the 2020/21 season you might be more optimistic that they could win the League Cup. There are some generous odds of 22/1 available from Betfair and Paddy Power for that to happen and we do like the look of that bet. Despite the crowded fixture list and busy season the League Cup could be the best chance to win a trophy.
If you are going to place any Leicester City bets, or bets in general, please gamble responsibly and know, and stick to your limits.
