Leicester City has completed a further issue of shares to King Power International, converting recently provided funding into equity. The club confirmed the move this week, stating it provides further financial support for ongoing operations and that there has been no change to the ownership structure.

Leicester City Football Club said: "Leicester City Football Club has completed a further issue of shares to King Power International, as filed with Companies House this week." The statement added: "The allotment of new shares to our parent company converts recently provided funding into equity."

This transaction continues a pattern of financial restructuring under chairman Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha. In the past, debt was converted to equity on more than one occasion. The club remains ultimately and beneficially owned by the Srivaddhanaprabha family through King Power.

The move comes as the Foxes sit in League One, having taken points from their opening matches. Their recent form has been mixed, with wins, a draw and defeats from recent games, a sequence you can review on our standings page. They travel to face Barnsley on Saturday, a fixture detailed on the club's fixtures list.
